Pakistan to launch Anti-terrorism Campaign in March 2019 : Report

Pakistan : The Pakistani govt on Wednesday introduced to launch a vast-ranging comprehensive operation to counter-terrorism and goal killing throughout the nation in March 2019.

Minister of State for interior Shehryar Khan Afridi informed media that the government has made up our minds to launch the country wide action Plan, a comprehensive action plan to crack down on terrorism and to supplement the continuing anti-terrorist offensive.

The announcement came after the detailed killing of former parliamentarian and senior politician Syed Ali Raza Abidi who was shot dead by using unknown assailants outside his house in Karachi, ioktimes news agency reported.

The attack at Abidi is the fourth terrorist attack in Karachi during final one month, which has raised serious issues over the country’s achievements in opposition to the terrorism.

The minister stated the political and military leadership and key protection organizations would take a seat collectively to take choices to bring betterment to the nation’s country wide protection plan.

The minister said the government may even revive the National wide Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), the country’s countrywide supplier established to gather intelligence and disseminate and coordinate between all primary stakeholders to counter terrorism and extremism.

“we shall are attempting tough to get rid of this plague from the nation via joint efforts of all stakeholders including provinces and the important executive, and people who want to destabilise the country shall be recognized soon,” said the minister.
