South Kashmir students attacked in Chandigarh, 15 injured

Srinagar : ioktimes : In a cowardly attack on Kashmiri students studying in Chandigarh, at least 15 students hailing mostly from South kashmir’s Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama and Anantnag districts were injured in mob attack on Saturday.

As per reports Hindu terrorists attacked Kashmiri students in Chandigarh with stones leaving 15 of them injured.

In an E-mail received by ioktimes news agency, a student hailing from South kashmir’s Kulgam District said that a large mob of RSS and BJP terrorists attacked us with stones while we were leaving for Srinagar after they received threats from unknown persons on phone saying that “quit Chandigarh within 12 hours otherwise get ready to die.”

” We are in trouble, we are not even able to move from one place to another as we are being targeted by mobs” he added.

Earlier Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said, that we are in contact with Chandigarh police to ensure safety for the students studying in indian states.

In similar incidents in Jammu, Bihar, Himachal, Delhi, Dehradun and others indian states kashmiri’s have became main target of mobs after Pulwama fidayeen attack.
