“Snowfall in first week of January” MET predicts

Srinagar: As the biting cold kept its grip over Kashmir Valley, the local Meteorological (MeT) department on Wednesday expected Snow in the first week of January.

Deputy Director MeT, Mukhtar Ahmad mentioned that there is probability of Snow on January 1 or 2. “The climate will stay dry as it is cloudy today as good. Nonetheless we expect a downpour on Jan 1 or 2 that may break the spell,” he mentioned.
