2 Army officers killed in Pakistan firing along LoC in Kupwara

Srinagar : Two Army officers were killed after Armies of India and Pakistan trade heavy fire on LOC in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.

Quoting ioktimes , An Army official said, At around 11:30 am on Friday, Pakistan violated ceasefire violations in keran sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Two Junior commissioned officers (JCO’s) were injured in the firing and were evacuated to Army base hospital were they succumbed to their injuries, he said.

He said, that indian Army responded ‘Ceasefire violation’ effectively.

The slain Army Men were identified as Subedar Gamar thapa and Subedar Raman thapa.
