Pulwama : [ioktimes] At least eleven civilians were injured in clashes with the government forces near gunfight site in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
Quoting sources said, ioktimes that eleven injured were delivered to Public health Centre (PHC) Rajpora for treatment.
“Ten were hit by pellets and so they were being treated on the facility at the same time one with head injury, most on the whole precipitated by way of a stone, was referred to SMHS health center in Srinagar for additional treatment,” Said a Doctor at P.C.Rajpora.
Sources also mentioned that Youth took to streets and hurled stones on the forces as quickly because the news of the gunfight in Hajin Payeen village spread within the Region.
The forces, they stated, responded through firing tear gas and pellets.
Earlier, a police official said that four militants had been killed within the gunfight that broke out after the forces launched a cordon-and-search operation in the area.
The identity of the slain militants was now not immediately identified.
