Veteran actor-author Kader Khan dies today due to extended health problem on the age of 81 on December 31, his son Sarfaraz confirmed.
Khan was admitted to a hospital in Canada and his son proven that his last rites will probably be performed within the country.
“My dad has left us. He passed away on December 31 at 6 pm as per Canadian time because of extended health problem. He slipped into coma in the afternoon. He was within the health facility for sixteen-17 weeks.
“The last rites will be carried out right here in Canada only. We have our whole household right here and we reside here so we are doing it,” Khan’s son Sarfaraz told PTI.
“We are thankful to each person who prays for him,” he added.
Earlier yesterday, Veteran actor Kader Khan’s son Sarfaraz has stated that his father has been admitted to a medical institution in Canada, pushing aside media reports of his dying.
“It is all a lie. It (is) just a rumour. My father is in the Clinic,” Sarfaraz told PTI.
Born in Kabul, Khan made his appearing debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna’s “Daag” and has featured in over 300 films.
Also, he has written dialogues for over 250 films. Before fitting an actor, he had written dialogues for Randhir Kapoor-Jaya Bachchan’s “Jawani Diwani” .
